The Navy’s Submersible is a new small submersible operated by a crew of 2 and capable of transporting 8 additional passengers. The crew of the sub also conducts diver operations external to the submersible that requires specialized self-contained diving systems. Previous student teams have designed an external gas supply system for divers to be used in exceptional exposure situations, augmenting their individual diving gear. Detailed design and integration of an additional gas supply system into an existing external Pod design is desired.
